We had much excitement last Friday as 3 teams of Year 5 & 6 pupils took part in the East Dorset Schools Team Tumbling Championships, an event in which teams of 5 pupils perform a gymnastics tumbling routine and are marked on their performance. 

After much practice at lunch times, the teams chosen to represent AMS headed to Ferndown Upper School to compete.  It is a tough competition where the gymnasts have to keep their composure and perform a set tumbling routine in front of 3 judges as perfectly as they can. 

Incredibly, our gymnasts did superbly, with all teams performing their routines calmly and with great poise. When the results were announced, the girls 'B' team achieved a fantastic 3rd place result and the mixed team came 1st!
